Trademarks and Copyright

Shipra is a Managing Associate and handles Trademarks and Copyright prosecution and enforcement matters.  She advises numerous Fortune 500 companies and represents the interest of clients from diverse industries and sectors. Her responsibilities include trademark searches and clearance, prosecution and enforcement. She has assisted a number of pro-bono clients. She regularly appears before the Trademarks Registry in relation to prosecution of trademark applications. She has been a part of joint project for sensitization of children to IP by INTA and the Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), Government of India. She has been involved in the conceptualization and development of educational material for youth in collaboration with CIPAM and INTA.  

 She was successful in achieving a 60% reduction of infringement volumes for one of the firm’s major Silicon-valley based technology clients, through a variety of non-adversarial alternate dispute resolution approaches.
