Career
Myriam leads the Arbitration and ADR department at Al-Marri & El-Hage Law Offices in Doha. She has extensive experience in complex commercial and construction disputes across the MENA region, notably in Lebanon, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
Myriam represents major construction companies in international arbitration and litigation proceedings and regularly advises on a wide range of construction-related matters, including contract drafting, claims management, delay and disruption issues, liquidated damages, and the liquidation of bank guarantees. She also has significant experience in commercial disputes, commercial litigation, and related criminal proceedings, and frequently advises on the setting aside and enforcement of arbitral awards in Qatar and across the region.
Myriam lectures on international arbitration at various universities, including the American University of Beirut, and has taught international arbitration courses at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (2016–2023) and within the University of London LLM Support Program (2012–2021).
Myriam is featured in the 2024, 2025, and 2026 editions of Lexology (WWL) – Arbitration: Future Leaders, as well as the 2025 edition of the Lexology (WWL) Commercial Litigation: Future Leaders. She has also received the Clients’ Choice Award - Commercial Litigation for 2026. She has previously been listed in the Legal 500 Arbitration Private Practice Powerlist for the Middle East and was recognized by LexisNexis Middle East as one of the 40 prominent female arbitration practitioners in the Arab world.
