Janine Lin is a partner of Innovatus Law. Her practice at the firm includes legal consultation, contract drafting and dispute resolution for capital market, merger & acquisition (M&A), and general corporate matters.

Janine has advised clients in the energy industry on a wide array of legal issues. She offered various legal advice to a multinational conglomerate involved in major public construction projects in Taiwan. She has also represented an independent power plant in tax and anti-trust litigations, and advised on several legal issues including amendment to Taiwan Electricity Act, renewable energy development, and greenhouse gas emission regulation. She also assisted an international private equity fund in handling a dispute arising from its investment in a renewable energy site in Taiwan.

Janine has represented high net-worth clients in cross-border inheritance cases, providing advice on family asset planning. She has also handled several civil and criminal litigations arising from the family business disputes, enabling clients to obtain favorable judgments or negotiation outcome for her clients. Furthermore, Janine often provides legal and compliance consultation on Taiwanese regulations for both domestic and foreign companies. She has represented many corporate and individual clients in a variety of litigation and arbitration cases, covering civil and criminal, corporate law, labor law, and intellectual property rights, and obtained favorable judgments for her clients.

In the field of capital markets, Janine has represented and assisted numerous Taiwanese enterprises in their Taiwan IPO and secondary offerings. In the realm of M&A deals, Janine has represented several domestic and foreign enterprises in mergers and acquisitions, major asset deals and joint venture investment structure planning in Taiwan and overseas. She regularly offers legal consultation to large enterprises in various types of investment transactions, such as investments in startups and private equity funds.

Janine is currently a member of the Taipei Bar Association, a lecturer for the corporate governance courses organized by the Taiwan Corporate Governance Association, and an independent director for a domestic listed company.
