Career

Hrvoje has extensive experience in international arbitration and public international law matters, in particular investor-state dispute settlement. With a decade of experience, he has acted as counsel in arbitration disputes conducted under various institutional arbitration rules (ICSID, ICC, VIAC and SCC) across a wide range of sectors, inter alia, energy, construction and mining.

Hrvoje started his career at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia and he has also worked as a legal advisor to the Croatian Parliament. Prior to joining AKG ADVISORY, Hrvoje was part of the arbitration and litigation practice groups of leading law firms in Croatia, France, and Austria, where he advised States and international corporations. Hrvoje is a member of the Croatian Bar Association. Hrvoje has also acted as a recurring guest lecturer (Chair of Civil Procedure Law) at the University of Zagreb’s Law School, teaching a practical course in Civil Procedure Law.
