Fernando has 20 years of experience, focusing his practice on M&A, Finance, Venture Capital and Technology, serving a broad portfolio of clients that includes investment funds, entrepreneurs, fintech companies, non-bank financial institutions and public and private companies. He is currently the Vice President of the North American Forum of the International Bar Association (IBA).

Fernando holds a law degree from Universidad Panamericana and an LLM from Pritzker School of Law and a Certificate in Business from Kellogg School of Management, both from Northwestern University. In 2007, Fernando participated as a Foreign Associate at O'Melveny & Myers, LLP, in Los Angeles, California.
