Usman’ practice focuses on labour and employment. He is also a member of our corporate and litigation practice groups.

Usman advises and represents clients in all areas of employment and labour law, including formulation and review of employment related policies and manuals, restructurings and redundancies, executive employment contracts, workplace relations and issues concerning labour and civil law litigation. He is recognized by his skills to implement practical workforce reduction strategies and to minimize the chance of labour disputes. He also assists clients with due diligence reviews during mergers and acquisitions and restructuring transactions.

Usman is an experienced and dedicated advocate who focuses his litigation practice on defending employers in labour and employment litigation. He also assists clients with investigations into allegations of misconduct, discrimination and workplace harassment. He also defends businesses and executives involved in civil, administrative or criminal government investigations or proceedings. He has extensive experience in handling trade secret and non-compete litigation.
