Founding Partner - Belluzzo International Partners

Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the University of Bologna, Luigi is Certified Pubblic Accountant and Registered Auditor. He is the Managing Partner of the Firm. He mainly deals with tax and asset advisory for Italian and international entrepreneurial families and companies. The focus of his professional activity is corporate and private consulting on the themes of group reorganisation, extraordinary transactions and tools for the financial and asset architecture.

After gaining professional experience in England and South Africa, from 2000 to 2005, he was tax manager of the PKF network in Italy and one of the seven members of the International Tax Committee of PKF in London. He joined the professional Firm founded by his father, Umberto, and helped develop Belluzzo&Associati, which later became Belluzzo International Partners.

He is SDA Bocconi Professor in the area of Financial Intermediaries and Insurance, a lecturer in masters and training projects, with a particular focus on the tax and legal dynamics of family business and wealth management.

Luigi is country correspondent for Italy for Trust&Trustees magazine, Oxford University Press.

He has published numerous articles in specialist magazines and newspapers on international taxation, corporate taxation, extraordinary transactions and family business issues. 

He is a member of various associations: The Trust in Italy; IFA – International Fiscal Association; STEP – Advising Families Across Generations – London; Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers – London 

Luigi is Vice President of STEP Europe.
