Career
Mr. Mohamed Ali has been a member of the Sudanese Bar Association since 2015. He earned both a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws (MA) from Al Neelain University, along with a Diploma in Legal Translation from Bahri University. Mr. Mohamed began his professional career in Sudan at Jalal Al Sayed Law Firm as an associate from 2015 to 2018, where he played a significant role in resolving numerous judicial disputes in favor of major clients.
Mr. Mohamed possesses extensive experience in commercial and corporate law. His expertise encompasses a broad range of legal services, including handling all types of cases and disputes before various judicial bodies and courts, contract drafting, negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, and providing diverse legal consultations.
In 2018, Mr. Mohamed joined the Sudanese Ministry of Justice, serving as a legal counsel in several governmental institutions and companies. He worked as a legal counsel for Sudan Airports Holding Company and moved between different departments in the Ministry of Justice, including Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. He also served as an advisor in the legal department of the University of Khartoum. During this period, he focused on providing legal consultations, risk analysis, internal guidance, best practices, and developing legal frameworks for the institutions and companies he worked with. He represented various ministries and governmental companies in complex and high-value disputes related to construction, education, and healthcare, participated in numerous local and international government tenders, and drafted government contracts with foreign entities (construction and operation contracts). He was involved in negotiating numerous high-value contracts and deals. In 2020, he was appointed by the Minister of Justice as a member of the committee for drafting the Personal Data Protection Law and in 2021, he was also appointed by the Prime Minister as a member of the national team for assessing money laundering risks.
In 2022, Mr. Mohamed moved to Qatar and worked as an associate at Zahra Al Ghanem Law Firm & Legal Consultancy, handling various cases in construction, company law, and commercial disputes. In 2023, he was registered with the Qatari Ministry of Justice as a non-Qatari lawyer.
