Mrs. Storto is a founder and senior partner at Szazi, Bechara Storto Reicher e Figueiredo Lopes Advogados. She is the co-heads the Public Law, also she co-heads the Social Business and Human Rights Law of the firm.

Career

Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (COGEAE) in specialization courses in Social Project Management in Third Sector Organizations and extension courses on MROSC and related topics. Regular speaker at events on the legal framework of non-profit organizations, public interest partnerships and on democratic rights. She is a Brazilian correspondent of the International Center for Non-profit Law (ICNL) for the United States International Grantmaking (USIG) project.

Lawyer with extensive experience in Public Law and outstanding performance in providing legal services to civil society organizations (CSO). She advises CSO partnering with the State, in a preventive manner, and litigating in administrative and judicial claims. She regularly participates and contributes to debates on the legal framework for the field of non-profit entities in Brazil and Latin America, as well as concerning restrictions on freedom of association in the interaction of CSO with the State.

Bachelor in Law, Mackenzie University (2000). Master of Laws, University of São Paulo, Brazil, 2015. Her master’s dissertation was on “Freedom of Association and the Challenges of Civil Society Organizations in Brazil”.
