Christopher is a highly experienced private client solicitor, specialising in advising ultra and high net worth individuals, family trusts, business owners, entrepreneurs, charities and corporate entities. His work includes: high net worth tax planning and wealth protection, Wills, the creation and administration of trusts, the administration of estates, advising charity trustees and owner and family managed businesses.

His clients include high net worth individuals, family business owners, trust companies and national banks. The Private Capital team at DWF provides trust and tax support to the wider firm's corporate, banking and litigation departments. Christopher works closely with his corporate colleagues to provide a seamless service for business owners and entrepreneurs on pre-sale planning opportunities, tax issues, trusts and the structuring of family holdings.

Christopher is a key part of the firm’s national and dedicated contentious trusts and estate disputes team, and frequently advises on 1975 Act claims and high value and complex estate and trust disputes.

In addition, Christopher (who hails from Jersey originally) has significant experience in advising on residence and domicile and in advising offshore trustees and international individuals in relation to UK assets and taxes.  The Private Capital team works with the firm’s international offices to advise high net worth and ultra-high net worth international families on their UK and global holdings and structures.
