Tax Director

Francisco de Luque has more than 25 years of experience advising local and foreign clients. He leads the Firm’s tax practice, advising national and foreign clients in the tax planning of their mergers and acquisitions transactions, and has participated in the structuring and sale of companies in different sectors of the economy and energy projects in Colombia. Francisco also advises Colombian families on tax matters related to estate planning and inheritance.

Francisco was a founding partner of DG&C Abogados, a senior associate in the tax practice of Brigard & Urrutia Abogados, an associate of Posse, Herrera & Ruiz S.A., an advisor of the Legal Office of the Colombian Tax Authority, and an attorney in the Doctrine Division, the External Representation Division and the Customs Appeals Division of the Legal Sub-Directorate of the Colombian Tax Authority.

Francisco obtained his law degree from the Universidad de los Andes (Bogota, Colombia). He is a Specialist in Financial Legislation from the Universidad de Los Andes (Bogota, Colombia).
