Jan Davids is partner and founder at Davids Advocaten. He began his career in 1995 as a corporate lawyer at PWC Legal Services. Jan has extensive knowledge of corporate law and wide-ranging experience in the field of restructuring. A committed dealmaker who applies his experience in accountancy to find solutions that are legally, fiscally and economically sound and well thought through. Jan also acts as a trustee in bankruptcies and as a restructuring expert or observer in WHOA processes. Prior to founding Davids Advocaten, Jan’s experience included working as a lawyer at Landwell Advocaten and Van Doorne.

Jan is a member of the Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOLAD). He is also a member of INSOL Europe, INSOL International and the Dutch Restructuring Association.

Jan studied Law at Leiden University (1993) and has completed the Grotius/INSOLAD Insolvency Law programme. At the end of 2021, Jan completed the WHOA Restructuring Expert Specialisation course at Leiden University.
