Nils Reerink is a partner at Davids Advocaten and has been working as a lawyer since 1997. Nils specialises in insolvency law and corporate law, and is highly experienced in the areas of restructuring, financing & securities and corporate litigation. Hands-on and goal-oriented, Nils is a strong negotiator ideally placed to advise companies in (the preliminary phase of) bankruptcy, suspensions of payment and restarts. Nils acts as a trustee in bankruptcies and a restructuring expert or observer in WHOA processes. Before joining Davids Advocaten as a partner, Nils worked at Wiersma Mendel Prakke Advocaten, Holland Van Gijzen and De Metz Advocaten.

Nils is a member of the Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOLAD) and the international specialist association for insolvency law INSOL International.

Nils studied Law at Groningen University (1996) and has completed both the Grotius/INSOLAD Insolvency Law programme and Financial Economics for Trustees programme at Erasmus University. At the end of 2021, Nils successfully completed the WHOA Restructuring Expert Specialisation course at Leiden University.
