Mark-Hendrik is a partner at Davids Advocaten. He has been practicing in litigation, restructuring and insolvency since 2000. Mark-Hendrik specialises in advising companies in financial difficulties and representing directors in complex liability cases. He has the ability to grasp complex matters quickly and develop effective, strategic solutions. His approach is diplomatic yet goal-oriented. As well as directors/board members, Mark-Hendrik advises shareholders, employees, financiers, suppliers and customers. His many years of experience mean he can provide companies with the right support in (the preliminary phase of) bankruptcy, suspensions of payment, restart and WHOA processes. Mark-Hendrik acts as a trustee in bankruptcies and a restructuring expert or observer in WHOA processes. Before joining Davids Advocaten, Mark-Hendrik worked at Van Doorne and AKD.

Mark-Hendrik is a member of the Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOLAD). He is also a member of INSOL Europe (the international specialist association for insolvency law), the Dutch Corporate Litigation Association and Dutch Association for Procedural Law (NVvP).

Mark-Hendrik studied Law (specialising in civil law and advocacy) at Groningen University (2000). He has completed the Grotius/INSOLAD Insolvency Law programme, the specialist Financial Economics for Insolvency Lawyers programme at Erasmus University, and the Postgraduate Insolvency Law programme at Amsterdam’s Vrije University.
