José María García Guirao is Managing Partner of the Tax Department of Devesa Abogados. García Guirao brings together a wealth of experience in providing tax advice to national and international companies. Coming from Garrigues, where he was Head of the Tax Litigation Area, and PriceWaterHouseCoopers, he has helped companies from different sectors to optimize their taxation, and is an accomplished specialist in contentious-tax proceedings and tax inspections.

Practicing attorney of the Bar Association.

Master's Degree in Taxation from the Instituto de Estudios Fiscales. Degree in Law.

Passionate about the tax field, José María García Guirao complements his professional activity in the firm with teaching. In this sense, he teaches classes on Tax Procedure, as a professor in recognized postgraduate programs such as the Master's Degree in Tax Consultancy of FUNDESEM and the Master's Degree in Taxation of the UA.
