His main areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate restructurings and investment and alternative financing agreements in the Private Equity, Venture Capital, Family Office and Investment Funds sectors. He also specializes in advising companies on their incorporation into multilateral trading systems (such as BME Growth or Euronext, among others), as well as on the incorporation of SOCIMIS or other investment vehicles.

During his previous professional career at Garrigues, where he also worked for more than 12 years in the Corporate Department of the firm, Juan Antonio Botella also advised a large number of family businesses, achieving a high degree of expertise in areas such as corporate law, corporate dispute resolution, succession planning in family companies, real estate investments and inheritance.
