Career

Yegan has more than 19 years of significant transactional and regulatory experience in M&A projects particularly in the areas of energy, infrastructure, transportation, metals & mining, construction, healthcare and banking. Before establishing LINER LAW, Yegan led the Corporate/M&A department of a leading Turkish law firm where she represented mainly international clients and was involved in international mergers and acquisitions, joint venture, tender offers, asset purchases as well as privatizations. With her knowledge and experience on Turkish corporate and commercial law, her attention to detail and business oriented approach, she is listed as “highly regarded” by IFLR 1000 for her M&A practice and introduced by her clients as “very discerning; she organized her team well, discussed the risks and considered ���out of the box” solutions” on Legal 500.

Yegan was awarded a Fulbright scholarship and received an LL.M degree from the George Washington University Law School. She also holds a second LL.M degree in corporate law from Galatasaray University where she is a PhD candidate. In the course of her masters and doctorate studies at Galatasaray University, Yegan was involved in the publication of various academic studies.
