Throughout my career, I have worked primarily as an M&A lawyer. But I also have significant experience in Finance, Corporate Real Estate and Restructuring.

I was a partner at a Magic Circle firm in London and abroad, then a consultant at a large, multinational law firm.

Most recently, I’ve worked mainly in the real estate sector on M&A transactions (including cross-border portfolios), acquisition and development finance, development joint ventures, sale and lease-back deals and non-performing loan portfolio sales. In the past, I’ve worked on M&A transactions in the life assurance, telecoms, airlines, banks and pharmaceuticals sectors. I have advised banks or borrowers on project finance and corporate finance loans and loan restructurings in the energy and infrastructure sectors. I have experience in insolvency and restructuring in the insurance, leisure, steel and telecoms sectors.

As well as London, I have lived and worked in Abu Dhabi, Adelaide, Budapest, Istanbul, Madrid, Moscow, San Francisco, Sydney and Warsaw. And, between 2015 and 2018, I spent considerable time in China.

I am admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales.
