I was a partner for over 30 years in two of the UK’s leading medium-sized law firms. During my time in private practice, I have been involved in a wide range of matters both contentious and non-contentious matters within the general commercial sector, employment and insurance (general and corporate) fields.

I have litigated on numerous occasions in the Commercial Court, Technology and Construction Courts of the High Court, the Chancery division and before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court on numerous domestic and international arbitrations and mediations. These include engineering disputes, off-shore oil installations, aircraft leasing, copyright and trade name disputes, corporate insurance and professional negligence.

I also have many years of experience in the negotiation and drafting of a wide variety of commercial agreements, including company share purchase agreements, shareholder’s agreements,  exclusive agency distributions,  technology contracts, IT Technology & Telecoms SAAS Agreements, Software Development and Licensing, Software Support and Hardware Maintenance, Outsourcing Contracts, Systems Integration, Directors agreements and finance broking agreements.

I also advise on FCA regulatory due diligence and fraud (SEIS and EIS schemes especially).
