Career
Olivia joined the team as a paralegal in May 2022 and began her training contract in July 2022.
Olivia qualified as a solicitor at Lux Family Law following the completion of her training contract in July 2024. During her training contract, Olivia assisted senior members of the team on a range of cases, gaining valuable experience in matters relating to divorce, finances, separation and children. Olivia strives to ensure that clients are well-informed, satisfied with the process and receive the best possible care.
Education
Olivia studied Law at Aberystwyth University and graduated in 2021 with a first-class honours degree. Olivia was awarded The Sir Samuel Evans Prize for obtaining the best honours mark at a Welsh law school in 2021. Olivia was also honoured to receive several academic awards from Aberystwyth University at her graduation ceremony. Olivia then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course (“LPC”) at Cardiff University.
Throughout her undergraduate degree, Olivia volunteered at Aberystwyth’s Family Legal Clinic, supporting the solicitor in advising members of the public. Olivia also volunteered with Both Parents Matter Cymru as an outbound caller/ case advisor and provided emotional support to service users.
Personal
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys walking her golden retriever, George.
Leisure
During university, Olivia was a member of Aberystwyth University’s netball team and enjoyed competing in the Ceredigion league.
