Rebecca Page

Wildcat Law, London

Work Department

Private Family Law including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, child arrangement disputes and protective injunctions.

Position

Solicitor specialising in Family matters including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, child arrangement disputes and protective injunctions.

Career

Rebecca has focussed on practicing Family Law ever since leaving University in 2017.

Rebecca deals with all aspects of Family Law including divorces, the division of matrimonial finances resulting from a divorce and separation, matters with child arrangement disputes and protective injunctions where there is domestic abuse.

Rebecca has previously dealt with complex issues involving assets outside of the jurisdiction of England and Wales as well as child abduction cases where children have been removed from the country and needed to be returned. Rebecca remembers one special case where a child was removed from the country for almost 2 years and her client had little progress with getting their child back. After some persistence, Rebecca was successful in having the child returned to the country, reinstated back to school and settled back into the normality of their life in the UK.

It is notable that even in the early stages of her career Rebecca has been involved in some of the most complex Family Law matters.

One of Rebecca's cases in the Court of Appeal in London was a reported case, stating that "A non-acceptance of a finding does not necessarily lead to a situation where the frequency of contact should be adjusted" - PJ v HB [2023] EWHC 3400 (Fam). Despite this being a very long process, Rebecca's client was incredibly pleased with how her needs were appropriately considered and dealt with in a sensitive manner.
