Career

Nilson de Oliveira Rodrigues Filho is a partner at Medina Osório Advogados in the Porto Alegre (RS) office. He holds a bachelor's degree in Legal and Social Sciences from UNISINOS and is a post-graduate student in Criminal, Anticorruption and Compliance Law at the New Law Institute of São Paulo (SP).

He was a prosecutor for the Public Prosecutor´s Office of the state of Rio Grande do Sul (MP-RS), having retired in June 2020. He joined the Public Prosecutor's Office in 1993, working in the municipalities of Capão da Canoa, Osório, and Porto Alegre.

In the Judicial District of the state Capital, as of 2003, besides having worked as an assistant prosecutor to the attorney general, coordinating the Office of Articulation and Integrated Management (Strategic Planning), Rodrigues Filho worked in the Specialized Prosecutor's Offices for External Control of Police Activities, Defense of Public Assets, Combating Organized Crime and Money Laundering of Porto Alegre, and in GAECO - Specialized Group for Combating Organized Crime - Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre and Vale do Taquari.

Nilson de Oliveira Rodrigues Filho is a professor at the Ibero-american Institute of Compliance, having also taught Criminal Law at Ulbra and IDC.
