Position

Kate is Head Professional Support Lawyer leading a team of lawyers focussed on non-contentious work, spanning the Corporate, Innovation, Real Estate and Private Departments. She is a legal director, lawyer and skilled knowledge manager with over 25 years’ experience of advising on Corporate law and practice.

The team drives delivery of client focussed, modern and tech enabled knowledge solutions to the Firm's lawyers and clients. The role encompasses legal education (through our Academy); legal services innovation; resource creation and management; thought leadership; and project and people management.

An expert in Corporate Governance, Kate also leads Corporate Governance initiatives for Mishcon, working alongside the Firm’s Purpose and Regulatory practices to help clients meet the triple challenges of increasing regulation, risk and the need to demonstrate best practice in sustainability. She is a keen advocate for Purposeful business and the B Corporation movement in the UK.Kate is also a published author on Corporate Governance (the Jordan Publishing Company Administration and Governance set, available through Lexis Library); and a member of the Corporate Governance committee for the Quoted Companies Alliance, which represents small and mid-cap quoted companies.Kate has also been a judge for MDR LAB, Mishcon de Reya's programme for tech start-ups in the legal space.
