Javier is a partner of ALTA Guatemala in the area of ​​labor law, has extensive experience in advice on general and specialized preventive labor matters for corporate and individual employers, labor litigation, as well as advice on social security and immigration law. Within his specialization, he provides preventive and reactive labor advice, aimed at guaranteeing compliance with applicable labor laws and strategically and adequately documenting said compliance, business processes and policies designed for use in personnel administration, as well as as the corresponding direction and defense in labor and administrative litigation before the General Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. Within his professional practice, he provides advice to companies and corporations in the preparation of legal labor documentation, design of strategies for compliance and execution of changes in labor structure, terminations, risk management, procedures before labor and social security authorities, procedures for termination of employment relationships, and all supporting employment documentation. He has extensive experience in due diligence in the labor area for merger and acquisition transactions of companies, labor audits to organize labor documentation and be in compliance with applicable labor laws
