Associate

Alejandro is a senior associate at ALTA  Guatemala with extensive experience in industrial and intellectual property. His focus is constantly on reviewing and ruling on the intellectual property of companies as well as advising on matters related to copyright and related rights.

He has the knowledge to advise clients in administrative and judicial processes related to regulatory matters in environmental, municipal, health, and administrative matters. Finally, within his practice he advises corporately on commercial and civil matters as well as on matters related to franchise and distribution contracts.

He is currently president of the intellectual property committee of the Guatemalan-American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and is a member of the board of directors of the Guatemalan Chamber of Intellectual Property.

He has been recognized in audits on intellectual property and regulatory issues in companies from different industries dedicated to the marketing of food, pharmaceuticals, as well as manufacturing plants for different products. Finally, Alejandro's professional experience also includes preventive advice on intellectual property and regulatory issues.
