Career

María Fernanda senior associate of ALTA Guatemala. Her legal practice is based mainly on advising on industrial, commercial, housing and mixed real estate development projects. She also provides legal services required by real estate activity.

The legal services provided in real estate activity range from the study, analysis and negotiation of the properties to be acquired for development, advice on the legal structure of the project and the preparation and formalization of the horizontal property and co-ownership regimes up to the stage final deed of the sales units, disbursements and delivery of the project.

María Fernanda provides support throughout the entire process, having experience in negotiating and formalizing construction contracts, specialist services, legally advising the developer during the permit and license management stage, consulting, accompaniment and formalizing purchase and sale promises of projects. real estate, advice on the formalization of the financing figures for real estate development projects, formalization of the deed of final units and coordination with the banks involved.

She also has experience advising and being in charge of individual transactions related to real estate such as sales, industrial, commercial and housing leases, donations, usufructs, mortgages and easements.
