Andrés is a partner at Alta Guatemala, he specializes in advising foreign and local clients on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, international transactions, agency, distribution, and corporate and commercial law.

He advised financial institutions in complex financial agreements, including the financing of several hydroelectric and mining projects and has participated as a local advisor in bond offerings in the international capital market.

Andrés has participated in some of the most relevant financial transactions in Guatemala in recent years, including private bond issuances in the international capital market under Rule 144A / Regulation S, financing of generation projects, acquisition of companies in the commercial sector, industrial, financial, banking and energy, and corporate financing to business groups in Guatemala and Central America.

After several years of practice, he has significant experience in the structuring, coordination and closing of commercial and financial transactions, covering several countries in Central America and Latin America.

Some of its most important clients are companies and investment funds in the United States and Latin America.
