Mr. Hermoso is an Associate of the Firm. He is immersed in the Firm’s core practice areas of Banking, Capital Markets, M&A and TMT, closing deals of significant market size and impact in the country.

He assisted in recent acquisitions of a real estate developer and a leading construction company in the Philippines. He also handled the listing of the sustainability bonds issued by  the country’s largest bank,  the biggest corporate bond issue to date in the Philippines. He also assisted a fintech start-up company on the required licenses to operate as a digital wallet, successfully handling its registration as an Operator of Payment System.

Mr. Hermoso successfully secured secondary licenses and approvals from the SEC, PSE, BSP, Bureau of Customs, Philippine Competition Commission, and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, among others. His securities practice is also noteworthy with various filings and applications with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Philippine Stock Exchange. He also handles intellectual property matters with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.

Mr. Hermoso regularly assists in handling corporate governance requirements of several corporations which include listed and public companies, a bank, mutual fund company, and financing company.

Mr. Hermoso was admitted to the Bar in 2022.
