Penny is an Senior Associate Solicitor.

Career

Penny began her career as a trainee solicitor at Salans LLP in London and continued to work for the employment department once she qualified as a lawyer.  She worked as a senior associate solicitor in the core employment team from 2002 to 2010. She advised on all aspects of employment Law, both contentious and non-contentious including discrimination, unfair dismissal and whistle blowing litigation, restrictive covenants, employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions, large scale redundancies and day to day HR issues.

Before joining Osborne & Wise , Penny was a consultant solicitor at Excello Law Ltd. She continued to provide a wide range of employment advice to both individual and corporate clients including a national sporting body, a multinational mining company and a global strategy consultancy. She has a breadth of knowledge and has experience working with a diverse client group.

Penny has contributed to Butterworths’ Employment Law Guide, one of the principal texts for employment law practitioners

Education

Penny graduated in law from Kings College London in 1993.  Following on from this she completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.

Personal

While not at work, Penny is kept busy by her three children and walking her energetic labrador through the muddy countryside.

Penny loves to travel, cook and spend time with family and friends.   She also has a bit of an obsession with crime novels and drama.
