Plamen Stefanov graduated the Southwestern University “Neofit Rilski” in 2016 with a master’s degree in law. He joined the team of Mikinski & Partners Law Firm in 2020. He specializes in information technology law, intellectual property law, corporate law and commercial transactions.

He has in-depth expertise in the field of intellectual property rights, which includes the development of a comprehensive strategy for the protection of business brands, trademark monitoring, as well as resolving disputes over infringed trademark rights and unfair competition.

His experience in the field of information technology law is related to providing legal assistance to clients of the Office for indirect and direct e-commerce, including preparation of general terms for internet platforms, resolution of disputes regarding infringed rights related to domain names, copyrights and other intellectual property objects. In his professional activity Plamen assists clients in the preparation and conclusion of various contracts related to information technology, including for integration and support of software, contracts for SEO optimization, etc.

He is deeply interested in the use of information technology and the provision of business services via the Internet. He passed with honors two courses on the basics of programming at the Software University, which greatly helps him understand the needs of clients in the field of information technology and facilitates communication with them.

Plamen has extensive experience in the field of personal data protection, advising clients in the development and implementation of specific internal rules in order to comply with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).
