Nikolay Ilchev graduated with a master’s degree in law from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2015 and is a member of the Sofia Bar Association. He joined the team of Mikinski & Partners Law Firm in 2025. He specializes in the legal regime of real estate, territorial planning, cadastre, and construction.

Professionally, he focuses on property law, family law, and inheritance law, with expertise in the planning and development of urban, agricultural, and forested land in Bulgaria. He possesses in-depth knowledge of the construction process and the connection of properties to the infrastructure networks. He has provided legal analysis for Bulgarian and international clients in the process of development of renewable energy sources and has offered legal opinions on cases involving cultural heritage sites and the procedures for changing the designation of agricultural land.

His experience in property and planning law has been gained through providing full legal support for transactions, including those for the establishment of building rights in exchange for construction obligations, as well as in the realization of photovoltaic projects and conducting urban planning administrative procedures. In his professional practice, Nikolay provides legal opinions and assists clients in drafting various contracts. He also applies his qualifications when assessing collateral for credit agreements.
