Jan-Paul is a founder and partner of M&A boutique law firm 9Corporate in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He was lead counsel in a large number (over 100) of mainly international M&A transactions, for both listed and privately held companies, PE sponsors and management teams. He has also advised many companies on an array of corporate matters. Jan-Paul was consistently ranked personally in Chambers (band 3 PE and band 4 High-End capability), Legal 500 and IFLR1000; Jan-Paul won the “Gouden Zandloper” for Best M&A Lawyer of the Netherlands and was nominated for Best M&A Lawyer at the M&A Awards, both in Midmarket and High End, many times.
