Alexander has more than 20 years of professional experience in the area of taxation and tax litigation. His professional portfolio includes more than 300 successful cases and projects on tax and customs law, support of large investment projects, tax structuring and reorganization projects, as well as precedent court cases. Recently he has been heavinly involved in large consulting and investment projects, prominent tax litigations and criminal preceedings on white collar crimes. Alexander is actively involved in many public projects legislative initiatives related to reform of taxation in Ukraine, among which are "No to article 212 of the Criminal code"; "Motivation of the court decisions in tax diputes" ; "Tax dispute vs. crime" ; "Tax reform"; «Draft Law № 3448»; “Natural human rights. The right to peaceful assembly as a way of protection of natural human rights”; “Fact in question in administrative legal proceedings: from protection of an individual to procedural nihilism” and others.

Alexander is the author of more than 200 publications and professional comments in mass media on taxation, customs law, disputes resolution, criminal law etc. He is an active participant of professional and business conferences, round tables and forums. He participates in profile committees of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and the European Business Association, German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and is a member of the Ukrainian Bar Association. Over many years Alexander Minin has been consistently included into Top 100 of the best practicing Ukrainian lawyers and has been recognized as one of the most authoritative tax professionals in Ukraine. In 2020 Alexander Minin was named the Best Lawyers® 2021 Litigation “Lawyer of the Year” in Ukraine.

Alexander started his professional career as a Financial Director at one of the first Ukraine-German joint ventures and as independent tax consultant. In 1991 Alexander became the first employee in Kyiv office of Arthur Andersen. In 1999 Alexander together with several colleagues has established his own firm in which he is a Senior Partner up to date. He is co-founder and member of KM Partners Attorneys at Law.
