Career
Throughout María Teresa's professional career, she has focused primarily on private practice, specializing in civil, corporate, and real estate law, as well as advising family estates and non-profit organizations.
María Teresa served as Counsel in the Construction & Real Estate area at the law firm DLA Piper Chile, leading projects related to renewable energy, M&A, and financing structures. She also actively contributed to strengthening corporate governance and providing pro bono legal advice. Previously, she worked as an in-house lawyer for family offices such as Igneous and Alemana Salud and as an associate attorney at other prestigious Chilean law firms, with a strong focus on tax reorganization, corporate processes, and due diligence.

Education
María Teresa is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (1997) and holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Universidad de Los Andes (2006).
