César Rodríguez, with more than 20 years as a lawyer, both as an in-house lawyer, becoming head of the legal department of a financial group in Colombia as well as an external advisor, allow him to have a global and transversal knowledge of the business in terms of its relationship with other work areas. This experience has also allowed him to have a strategic vision that he has applied in matters related to financial litigation.

In his practice, he has participated in national and international financing operations, design of new products, both massive and specific, guarantee structures of different kinds, and implementation of data protection and consumer protection systems. He complements his professional activity with classes at different universities in subjects related to his field of expertise.

Before joining Dret as head of the Banking & Financial team, he was part of the team at Tobar & Romero Abogados, Banco Corpbanca Colombia S.A. and Banco Santander Colombia S.A.
