Juan Miguel almost 20 years of experience in real estate transactions and planning regulation, with special experience in the execution of master plans, urban instruments, and real estate transactions and development projects.

He has strong experience in transactional and planning matters and has built a strong area that can manage the most complex matters of real estate and planning in Colombia.

This practice has been involved in relevant development projects and transactions during last years, and we successfully implemented with most of our clients the “360º approach” and “Law Firm Fee”, which have been effective instruments for new clients and cases.

As part of the real estate and urban planning practice, I have experience in different renowned law firms in various countries and jurisdictions. I´ve advised national and international clients in structuring and developing strategies for land use, planning permits obtention, structuring projects, undertaking due diligences, title researches and urban planning studies as well as drafting and negotiating contracts.

I have also advised the legal strategy for complex legal structures related to the acquisition of real estate properties, the development of residential projects, office buildings, logistic, tourism, commerce, agroindustry, and infrastructure, among others.
