Career

Kate is a Partner of the firm who undertakes most of the Firms instructions across the Copperbelt. She is a proficient drafter of contracts, having amassed the art of extensive review of contracts and is experienced at providing well-reasoned legal opinions and formulating a detailed analysis of the law.

This, coupled with her demonstrated skill in trial advocacy and litigation; makes her an exceptional practitioner and a Master of Corporate law which she concluded at the University of South Africa (UNISA). Kate takes on legal opportunities to expand her legal career and secures her learning and development; whilst at the same time ensuring the needs of both the Firm’s domestic and international clients. Notwithstanding, she has an array of experience leveraging corporate advice, assisting clients to arrive at the resolution of disputes by alternative avenues (ADR), and facilitating the purchase and sale of client assets. With a her broad experience in civil and criminal matters, Kate has represented clients in a wide variety of complex disputes across industry sectors that include; transport, employment, energy, mining, banking & finance, insurance, media, telecommunications, manufacturing, and shareholder relationships.

In addition to her credentials, Kate is a Member (MCIArb) of the Zambian Chapter of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as the UK.
