Career

Kasewe Banda is a lawyer who is proficient in, and passionate about, arbitration, construction adjudication, litigation and commercial mediation, all which require a high level of diplomacy and sound judgment. He is an accredited commercial mediator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (“CIarb”) and was trained by the SOAS University of London in partnership with the CIarb in arbitration advocacy, training that further strengthened his skills in examination of factual and expert witnesses, research and drafting written submissions.

In his years of law firm practice, Kasewe has had the opportunity to represent clients in court and in arbitral proceedings in a wide range of disputes including construction, mining, banking, labour and commercial matters.

Kasewe is a member of the Zambian Bar. He received his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Zambia where he was one of two law students selected to represent Zambia at a World Bank facilitated mining law work shop in Rwanda.
