Fernando Roldán
Fernando Roldán
Fernando Roldán is a founding partner of Roldán Uribe & Álvarez Abogados. He has over 30 years of professional experience in resolving highly complex disputes and has acted as an attorney in numerous national and international arbitration tribunals, amicable composition proceedings, and before administrative, civil, and constitutional courts, dealing with matters related to state contracts, road, rail, and airport infrastructure, energy, gas, and private contracting. He is a lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia, with specialized studies at the same university, where he also served as a professor for more than 15 years. He received an honors scholarship throughout his academic career, was exempted from preparatory exams, and his thesis was widely praised. Additionally, he is a member of the Arbitration and Secretary Lists of the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá and Cartagena Chambers of Commerce. He is a full member of the Colombian Institute of Procedural Law, as well as an active speaker on various topics related to arbitration, dispute resolution, and public and private contracting. Before founding Roldán Uribe & Álvarez Abogados, he was a partner at Chemás Roldán & Asociados for more than 25 years.

Juan Miguel Álvarez
Juan Miguel Álvarez is a founding partner of Roldán Uribe & Álvarez Abogados. He has over 10 years of professional experience in dispute resolution before national and international arbitration tribunals, as well as before administrative, civil, and constitutional courts. Throughout his professional career, he has participated in numerous litigations and arbitrations in the area of state and private contracting, related to disputes across various sectors of the economy. He is a lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia and currently serves as a professor of International Economic Law, International Commercial and Investment Arbitration, and International Contracting at the same university. He holds an LL.M. in International Economic Law, Business, and Policy from Stanford University, California, and an LL.M. in European and International Business from the University of Vienna, Austria. Additionally, he is a member of the Secretary List of the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce. He is the author of numerous books and publications on national, international, and investment arbitration, and is also an active speaker on various topics related to these fields. Laura Feijoo
Laura Feijoo has been an Associate at Roldán Uribe & Álvarez Abogados since 2023. She has over 4 years of professional experience in national litigation and arbitration related to infrastructure projects, public works contracts, contractual and extra-contractual liability of the State, sanctioning processes, class actions, consumer protection actions, among others. She is a lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia, where she currently teaches General and Special Civil Procedural Law. She was awarded honors scholarships during her third, fourth, and fifth years of her law degree and was exempt from preparatory exams. She holds a specialization in State Contracting from Universidad Externado de Colombia and is a member of the Constitutional Observatory of Procedural Norms and a collaborator at El Rincón del Arbitraje at the same university. She is an active researcher in various topics related to procedural law, evidence law, and national arbitration. Mike Montaña Sanabria
Mike Montaña has been an Associate at Roldán Uribe & Álvarez Abogados since 2022. He has over 5 years of professional experience in national and international litigation and arbitration related to infrastructure projects under PPP schemes, energy sector projects, public works contracts, corporate and business disputes, among others. He is a lawyer from Universidad Libre de Colombia, where he also served as a teaching assistant in the Procedural Law Department for over three years, teaching courses such as General Procedural Law and Evidence Law. He holds a specialization in Commercial Law and a Master's degree in Private Law from Universidad de los Andes, where he was awarded the Eduardo Álvarez Correa Excellence Scholarship. He is a full member of the Colombian Institute of Procedural Law, a member of the Youth Arbitration Network, and part of the ANCLA Research Group at the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
