Alexandros Manousakis is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and Manager (CIPP/E and CIPM) and a graduate of the University of Athens. With a strong working background in the life sciences, food and beverages and legal sectors, his inhouse experience allows him to work closely and efficiently with clients, delivering pragmatic, business oriented and timely advice across all functions of a business. Alexandros also leads the DPO and privacy team in addition to acting himself as a DPO for multiple private companies across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences industry.
He has an active interest in GDP and e-Privacy compliance and provides strategic advice on international data transfers incl. Privacy Shield Certification and CPA compliance and privacy program implementation matters across multiple jurisdictions. He is fluent in Greek, English and German. Alexandros contributes back to the privacy industry by volunteering for the app as the Youth Professional Leader for the Greek KnowledgeNet Chapter.
Having completed a number of successful secondments, including with a major life sciences group and an international food and beverages group, he has particular experience of working very closely with clients and delivering pragmatic and timely advice to various functions across the business.
