loannis Manousakis is a Greek attorney with extensive local and international experience in the pharmaceutical sector. He served as head counsel of one of the top Greek pharmaceutical companies, handling the highest value licensing and distribution agreements in the Greek market.

In 2010, Ioannis became the Founder and Managing Partner of ALG MANOUSAKIS LAW FIRM, a law firm focused on provision of legal services in the areas of healthcare, corporate and administrative law, which quickly became a recognized partner for pharmaceuticals and companies in the food and beverage sector, biotechnology companies seeking local advice and support in their day-to-day operations in Europe. His expertise comprises of regulatory compliance to Greek and European legislation (pharma and general regulatory, antitrust), negotiation of commercial agreements and coordination of large scale projects following mergers or acquisitions, development of best practice templates for HCP/HCO engagements and negotiation of agreements with clinical vendors. Ioannis has extensive experience in compliance pre and post monitoring, advice for market access activities, transparency responsibilities, promotion and advertising of medicinal products including relevant notifications to EOF (National Organisation for Medicines), pricing and reimbursement, import and wholesale regulations for medicinal products.

He is the author of the book “Pharmaceutical Law” and of various publications in law journals on compliance and regulatory issues for the healthcare industry, including competition law and data privacy issues.
