Alexandros Katsanos is an EU qualified Lawyer appointed at the Supreme Court, with a high academic profile, postgraduate studies in commerce law at the University of Heidelberg, Germany and a PhD in international environmental law.

Alexandros has notable professional experience substantiated by a diversified legal background. He served as legal counsel to the Public Power Corporation providing consultancy services and legal support. He handled the litigation of credit institutions under special liquidation implementing the relevant European legislation. He was legal advisor to the European Parliament conducting legal research and providing support and advice to the parliamentary legal works. He has been corporate legal to numerous companies in the areas of public works, investment, mergers, acquisitions, real estate and tourist enterprises, widely involved with contracting, legal advice and litigation.

Alexandros is founding member of the Association of Scientists of European Studies, participates in the editorial team of the European Law Journal and has various publications in Greek and foreign law journals.

In ALG, Alexandros is the main point of contact for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and energy companies and handles (along with a team of lawyers and paralegals) the review and negotiation of all types of contracts to support operations in Europe, UK & US, amongst others. He further specializes in labor law reviewing recruiting or staffing agreements and also provides legal support in tender procedures for public works or procurement.
