Career
Moulay is the Partner of Grant Thornton Legal in Morocco, with over 15 years of experience as Attorney-at-law.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton Legal in January 2023, Moulay gained experience during more than eight (8) years at Hajji & Associés, followed with an experience of more than five (5) years at Naciri & Associés Allen & Overy.
He focuses on corporate and M&A, regulatory and general business law. He has also developed significant experience in antitrust/competition and data protection and has a wide range of experience in intellectual property matters. He also has a strong track record of handling merger control proceedings.
He is moreover the Treasurer of the Moroccan Professional Association of Competition Lawyers.
Moulay has been involved in various transactions in North Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa. He regularly advises domestic and international clients (investors, industrial operators, public entities) on cross-border and local issues.
Moulay is qualified in Morocco and admitted to the Casablanca Bar.
He is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
