Career

Marta specialises in intellectual property rights protection, in particular copyright, unfair competition and know-how issues, as well as in IT project management, including IT system implementation and maintenance services, computer software licensing, and e-commerce projects.

She has participated in numerous implementation and audit processes in the field of safeguarding personal data processing. Marta provides advice to entrepreneurs in litigation. She is developing the firm’s presence in Katowice and supports the development of the Italian Desk.

She has been advising since 2007. Marta gained her professional experience in leading Polish law firms and in one of the Polish collective management organizations, working with organizations of this type from other countries that are associated in the international federation. She has also provided legal support to Italian entrepreneurs starting a business in Poland.

Graduate of PhD studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and LL.M studies in Comparative, European and International Law at the European University Institute in Florence.

She also graduated from the Centre for English and European Law at the University of Warsaw and the University of Cambridge, and from the Italian and European Law Centre at the University of Warsaw and the Dipartimento Seminario Giuridico of the Università degli Studi di Catania. Author of publications on copyright law and e-commerce.
