Head of the Firm’s Corporate Department. Mr. Al Khurafi is consistently recognized by clients as a leading business adviser who provides unconventional, practical tailored legal solutions and a deal maker.

With over 16 years of experience, Mr. Al Khurafi is an expert in commercial and civil law, specializing in advising listed and non-listed companies on corporate matters. He is well-versed in establishing new businesses, corporate restructuring, shareholders management, board authority matrices and executing local and cross-border mergers & acquisitions with strong track record in successfully closing business transactions.

Mr. Al-Khurafi acted as board secretary and legal counsel for flagship companies, during which he negotiated with both governmental agencies and private corporations. Hs exceptional expertise in drafting, reviewing, and advising on clients’ operation related business agreements is equally well-recognized. Additionally, he represents clients in domestic and international arbitrations in both Arabic and English.

Mr. Al Khurafi has obtained his LLB (with honors) from Kuwait University in 2006 and he continued his postgraduate studies in both business administration and Islamic finance and holds certification from Cornell University. He is a member of Kuwaiti Bar Association, admitted before Constitutional and Cassation Courts and registered arbitrator before Kuwait Commercial Arbitration Center.
