Career
Cenk Konukpay graduated from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law in 2013 and completed his Master’s degrees at the College of Europe and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He had also the chance to carry out a traineeship at the Secretariat of the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission) of the Council of Europe. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in public law at Galatasaray University.
Having a successful academic background in various prestigious institutions, he has a strong professional working capacity to deliver a valuable contribution to his work. Cenk Konukpay’s legal services focus on a variety of sectors including insurance, e-commerce, retail, energy, digital services and automotive.
Cenk Konukpay’s work includes a wide range of areas in data protection, e-commerce, environment & sustainability and competition law in particular advising on day-to-day commercial practices, organizing and leading training and compliance programmes for top tier companies, leading all phases of compliance processes, preparing documents and drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, representing and assisting clients in all phases of data protection law related matters including data breaches, complaints and cases in general, working closely with the relevant departments and legal counsels for the implementation of the requirements.
