Anuwat has been practicing law for more than 20 years and oversees the firm’s Litigation, Dispute Resolution & Arbitration department as well as several of the firm’s other legal practices, including its specialist data privacy and personal data protection unit.

He represents Thai and foreign parties in the civil and criminal courts and is an expert in minimising clients’ legal exposure and in developing strategies for crisis management.

Previously, Anuwat was a director at a Big Four audit firm, heading up its litigation team. For 16 years he advised international clients on a wide range of legal and tax matters related to establishing, restructuring and maintaining business operations in Thailand.

He is a go-to resource for setting up compliance measures with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), legal and tax restructuring, PPP projects, mergers and acquisitions, and human resources legal management.

Anuwat is highlighted as a Litigation Star in the Thai legal space by Benchmark Litigation, an international publication that ranks the world’s leading litigation firms and lawyers. He is also a recommended lawyer here at The Legal 500.

He is a member of the Thai Bar Association and the Law Society of Thailand, as well as a panellist at both the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI) and the Thai Arbitration Center (THAC). He is also an advisory board member of the Faculty of Laws, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), and an active member of the Association of Family Business Entrepreneurs (AFBE), Thailand. He is regularly invited to speak at events, forums and seminars and is a visiting lecturer at various Thai universities.

His recent matters include claims and defences in white-collar crime, bankruptcy, labour and taxation, as well as advising on shareholder disputes and consumer protection and international trade case matters.
