Michael Kollik has many years of experience in banking and capital markets law. His practice focuses on financing, capital markets, securities, banking and regulatory law. Michael has extensive expertise in securities law and the Austrian and European capital market infrastructure, which he was able to contribute, for example, to a working group of the Fintech Advisory Board established at the Federal Ministry of Finance in connection with the dematerialisation of securities and the subsequent implementation of the digital global certificate in Austria.

Michael Kollik is the long-standing General Counsel of OeKB CSD, Austria's only central securities depository. He is co-author of the Scherer Commentary on the Austrian Securities Deposit Act (C.H. Beck, to be published in 2024), in which he comments on the Austrian securities deposit system. He regularly lectures on banking and capital markets issues.
