Christiane Steurer has specialised in M&A, corporate law, venture capital and private equity throughout her career. In recent years, she has not only advised on large (international) M&A and private equity transactions on both the seller and the buyer side, but also on capital measures for start-ups and SMEs. Christiane Steurer and Martin Kollar manage the start-up programme NuCo.legal (https://www.nuco.legal/), a special service of AKELA for founders, academic spin-offs and scale-ups.

Christiane co-authored the chapter 'Corporate Venturing' in the MANZ standard reference book 'Das große Handbuch Wirtschaftsrecht'. She is very active in the Austrian start-up and investor scene and regularly represents AKELA at renowned events such as the annual Business Angel Summit in Kitzbühel, the World Venture Forum and the Global Corporate Venturing & Innovation Summit. Christiane Steurer is a regular speaker in her areas of expertise and continues to educate herself in order to always be up to date with the latest developments.
