Founding Partner

Hannes Schlager is a founding partner of AKELA and specialises in real estate, dispute resolution and special transactions. He has extensive experience in the planning, structuring and implementation of complex property development and real estate projects and represents clients - in particular in construction disputes - before national courts and international arbitration tribunals. Hannes Schlager also has many years of experience in transactional work and specialises in M&A issues, such as acquisitions in the medical and pharmaceutical sector. He also advises companies in national and European merger control proceedings.

Hannes Schlager is the author of numerous legal publications, in particular on real estate and procedural law. He is a frequent speaker and panelist, particularly on sustainability issues in the real estate sector, and has been a lecturer in private commercial law at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt for many years.
